Sand Loop Level Guides

Level 30 "Pixel Park" Master Walkthrough

Visual Breakdown and Strategic Overview

Sand Loop Level 30, titled "Pixel Park," presents a deceptive 8-bit landscape that tests your ability to manage vertical column logic rather than standard horizontal fills. The visual target is nostalgic: two vibrant green trees standing on a grassy hill against a cyan sky dotted with pink clouds.

The Core Logic Puzzle

Unlike previous levels where you might paint from left to right, this stage is a vertical stacking challenge. The canvas is split into three distinct vertical zones: the Left Tree, the Right Tree, and the Central Sky. The complexity arises because the Supply Tray is designed to obstruct the tree colors with sky colors, forcing you to reverse-engineer the painting process.

The Blocking Mechanic

This level introduces "Numbered Blockers" aggressively. You are not free to choose colors; you must unlock them. Specifically, "Lock 3" blocks secure the Cyan sky cups, and "Ice 5" blocks secure the Pink cloud cups. These sit directly on top of the Green tree cups you desperately need.

The Failure Condition

The most common failure state in Level 30 is "capping" the ground. If you pour the sky colors (Cyan/Pink) into the tree zones before the ground is established, the lighter sand will bury the bottom layer. This prevents the Orange ground from connecting, leaving your trees floating in mid-air, which results in an automatic level fail.

Prerequisites for Success

To succeed, you must adopt a "Excavation" mindset. You must clear the top rows of the supply tray to access the bottom rows, while simultaneously ensuring that when sand falls, it lands in the correct vertical column. Precision clicking is more important here than speed.

Primary Objectives and Completion Goals

Establish the Foundation Layer

Your immediate first goal is to secure the bottom 15% of the canvas. The Orange sand represents the earth and grass. Without a solid, unbroken layer of Orange connecting the left and right sides, the rest of the painting will collapse. This layer must be laid before any significant amount of sky color falls.

Unlock the Supply Tray

The supply tray is currently locked by Ice and Number blocks. Your secondary objective is to clear the top two rows of the tray (Cyan and Pink) to shatter the blockers and release the Dark Green and Brown cups trapped underneath. You cannot finish the level until these blockers are gone.

Construct Vertical Pillars

The trees in Pixel Park are not painted; they are built. You need to stack sand vertically. The objective is to create two distinct pillars of sand on the far left and far right sides of the screen. These pillars must rise from the Orange ground up to the top of the canvas frame.

Preserve the Negative Space

The center of the image (roughly 40% of the canvas width) must remain relatively clear of Green and Brown sand. This area is reserved for the sky. A key objective is to dump the excess "sky" colors into the center so they don't bleed into the tree structures.

Achieve Color Separation

The final goal is color purity. The trees must be predominantly Green with Brown trunks, while the background must be Cyan and Pink. You must avoid "contamination," where Pink sand rolls off the sky and mixes with the Green tree leaves.

Step-by-Step Execution Guide

Phase 1: The "Ground Zero" Protocol (Moves 1-2)

Start the level and do not tap anything immediately. Look at the top row of the supply tray. You will see Orange cups on the far left and far right edges. These are your only safe starting moves.

  • Step 1: Tap the Left Orange Cup. Allow the sand to flow completely. Watch it settle at the bottom.
  • Step 2: Tap the Right Orange Cup. Allow it to flow.
  • Result: You now have a solid "U" shape of ground at the bottom. The middle of the ground might be thin, but the edges are secure for your trees.

Phase 2: Clearing the Locks (Moves 3-6)

Now you must deal with the blockers. You cannot reach the Greens yet. You must clear the Cyan cups sitting on "Lock 3" blocks in the middle of the tray.

  • Step 3: Tap the Left Cyan Cup (Row 1, Center). This sends sand to the conveyor.
  • Step 4: Tap the Right Cyan Cup (Row 1, Center).
  • Strategic Note: Since these are in the center of the tray, they will pour into the center of the canvas. This is safe! The center is supposed to be sky. Pouring these here now actually helps by clearing the tray without risking your tree zones.
  • Outcome: The "Lock 3" blocks break, opening up the tray further.

Phase 3: The Ice Breaker Maneuver (Moves 7-10)

Next, you face the Pink cups on "Ice 5" blocks. These are trickier. They are located on the sides of the tray. You must pour them to get to the Green cups below, but you must manage where the sand lands.

  • Step 5: Tap the Left Pink Cup.
  • Step 6: Tap the Right Pink Cup.
  • Timing Tip: Watch the conveyor belt. If you can, time your taps so the Pink cups drop while the conveyor is positioned in the center of the screen. This prevents Pink sand from falling on your freshly laid Orange ground.
  • Outcome: The Ice shatters, revealing the crucial Green cups in Row 4.

Phase 4: The Tree Construction (Moves 11-16)

The tray is now open. You will see Dark Green cups. This is the critical moment. Do not worry about the remaining Blue or Mystery cups yet.

  • Step 7: Locate the Dark Green Cups in the supply tray.
  • Step 8: Tap them immediately.
  • Placement Logic: Ensure the cups are poured when the conveyor belt is aligned with the Left and Right sides of the canvas. The Green sand must land on top of the Orange ground.
  • Step 9: If you see Brown cups (often hidden in the "?" Mystery Cups that appear now), tap them next. Brown creates the trunk and should go down before the rest of the Green leaves.

Phase 5: The Sky Fill (Final Moves)

With your trees built as tall pillars on the left and right, the rest is easy cleanup.

  • Step 10: Dump all remaining Cyan and White cups.
  • Step 11: Dump any remaining Pink cups.
  • Physics: Because your Green trees are tall mounds, the light sky sand will roll off the sides of the trees and fill the empty valley in the middle. This creates the perfect horizon line automatically.

Strategic Color Analysis and Order

Priority 1: Orange (The Base)

Why Orange first? In the physics engine of Sand Loop, heavier or darker sands often settle differently, but the primary logic here is structural. If you fill the center with Cyan first, the sand pile becomes unstable. By pouring Orange first on the edges, you create "banks" that will eventually catch the Green tree sand.

Priority 2: Cyan and Pink (The Blocker Clearers)

We process these colors second not because they are visually important, but because they are keys. They are obstacles in the supply tray. Cyan is safer than Pink. Cyan can go anywhere in the center. Pink is dangerous because it is "cloud" color—if it touches the ground too early, it looks like grass growing on clouds, which is wrong.

Priority 3: Brown (The Trunk)

Often found in "?" cups, Brown is time-sensitive. If you pour Brown after the Green leaves, it will just sit on top of the leaves like a hat. It must be poured before the main Green bulk so it slides down the mound and settles at the bottom, creating the trunk effect against the Orange ground.

Priority 4: Green (The Leaves)

This is the bulk of the level. You want a large volume of Green sand to fall late in the level so it stacks high. If you pour Green too early, subsequent colors will bury it, and your trees will look like small bushes rather than large trees.

The "Mystery" Cup Variable

In Level 30, the black cups with "?" usually contain the Brown needed for trunks or a special shade of Green. Always unlock Mystery cups as soon as they are accessible. Do not leave them for the end. If they contain Brown, you need it in Step 9 of the walkthrough. If they contain Green, they just add to the tree volume.

Pro Tips and Common Pitfalls

The "Floating Tree" Mistake

This is the #1 error. Players get impatient and pour Cyan in the center first. When they later pour Green, the Green lands on top of the Cyan. The result is a tree floating in the air with no connection to the ground. Fix: Always ensure the first sand to hit the bottom left and right is Orange.

The Conveyor Belt Misalignment

The supply tray moves. If you tap a Green cup while the belt is in the center, you ruin your tree. Tip: Watch the moving tray arrows or the tray itself. Wait for the tray to slide all the way to the Left before tapping the Left Green cup, and all the way to the Right for the Right Green cup. This 1-second pause saves the level.

Mixing Pink and Green

When you pour the final sky colors, avoid pouring Pink directly onto the top of a Green tree. It looks like a tumor on the tree. Solution: Try to pour remaining Pink/Blue when the belt is in the center, letting it cascade down the slope of the tree rather than dropping on the peak.

Ignoring the "?" Blocks

Sometimes players save "?" blocks for last, thinking they are bonus points. In this level, they are structural components (trunks). Ignoring them leads to trees with no trunks.

Speed Running Tip: The "Double Tap"

For advanced players looking to optimize time: You can "Double Tap" the two Orange cups at the very start (Move 1). As soon as the first cup hits the conveyor, tap the second. The game queues the input. This shaves 2 seconds off your time immediately.

Recovering from a Bad Pour

If you accidentally spill Green in the center, don't panic. Pour heavy amounts of Cyan and Pink on top of it immediately to "bury" the mistake. Then, pour more Green on the sides to rebuild the trees. The auto-checker usually ignores small bits of green buried deep in the sky if the overall tree shape is correct.
